If you are looking for volunteers who have lymphedema, I have had it for 40 years (lower extremity). I learned how to care for it from Saskia in her clinic in San Francisco and have been an NLN member for many years. I am NOT a medical professional. I’ve lived in Spokane WA for six years where I have NOT found a network to support patients, despite calling the 3 cancer enters here. I have three Spokane friends who had breast cancer who have not received any education about their lymphedema following surgery. If I can help spread the word in any way, please let me know.
